Thank you for handling our shipment with care.
This crate contains components that may be heavy.
Please follow the steps below to safely open the crate and remove the equipment.

How To Open Your Crates

Step 1: Prepare the Area

  • Place the crate on a flat, stable surface.

  • Make sure you have enough space around you.

Step 2: Assess the Crate

  • Identify the top and front sides.

  • If damage is visible, take photos **before opening** and report it.

Step 3: Remove the Top (if needed)

  • Use a pry bar to loosen and remove the top panel.

  • Work carefully to avoid splintering.

Step 4: Open the Front or Side

  • Pry open the front or side panel next.

  • Work from top to bottom, removing nails along the way.

Step 5: Support the Panel

  • Before pulling it out, make sure the component is stable.

  • Have someone support it if it starts to lean.

Step 6: Remove Restraints

  • If strapped or bolted inside, cut straps or unfasten bolts.

📐 SAFETY FIRST


Important Safety Notes:

  • ⚠️ The component inside may be top-heavy — it can tip if not supported properly.

  • 🧤 Wear gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes.

  • 🪓 The crate is nailed shut — tools will be required.

  • 👥 Work with at least two people, if possible.

  • 🚫 Do not rush — take your time to avoid damage or injury.

🧰 WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Pry bar or nail puller

  • Hammer

  • Gloves & glasses

  • Two or more people

  • Straps or support for tall panels (optional)

🚫 WHAT NOT TO DO

  • ❌ Don’t drop the unit or let it fall.

  • ❌ Don’t stand directly in front of an unstable part.

  • ❌ Don’t open the crate without PPE.

💡 Extra Tips:

  • 🔎 Inspect the crate first: Check for damage or instability before opening.

  • 🪵 Secure the crate: Make sure it won’t shift while you work.

  • 📋 Plan ahead: Have a clear space ready for the panel once it’s out.

  • 💡 Good lighting: Work in a well-lit area to see clearly.

  • ✋ Mind your hands: Don’t place fingers under boards or near nails.

  • 🪛 Loose parts inside: Look for extra items (manuals, bolts) before moving the panel.

  • 👥 Teamwork helps: Use two or more people for tall or heavy panels.

  • ♻️ Recycle timber: Stack boards and nails safely, recycle if possible.

  • 📷 Take photos: Document the crate and contents before and after opening.

  • 🪓 Nails: Hammer down or remove any exposed nails to prevent injury.
