Step 1: Prepare the Area

Place the crate on a flat, stable surface.

Make sure you have enough space around you.

Step 2: Assess the Crate

Identify the top and front sides.

If damage is visible, take photos **before opening** and report it.

Step 3: Remove the Top (if needed)

Use a pry bar to loosen and remove the top panel.

Work carefully to avoid splintering.

Step 4: Open the Front or Side
-
Pry open the front or side panel next.
-
Work from top to bottom, removing nails along the way.

Step 5: Support the Part
-
Before pulling it out, make sure the component is stable.
-
Have someone support it if it starts to lean.

Step 6: Remove Restraints
-
If strapped or bolted inside, cut straps or unfasten bolts.
